How do I change the account ownership to another user?

Account Ownership

Only the Account Owner can change the account ownership to another user.  The below procedure cannot be accomplished by an Admin or any other user role.

If you want to change/transfer the account ownership to another user, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in as the Account Owner, e.g., "owner@yodeck.com"
  2. Click at the top right of your screen and select the "My User Profile" option.
  3. Change the email from "owner@yodeck.com" to "new_owner@yodeck.com" and click the "Save" button.

What happens if the new_owner is already a user under that account?

If the user "new_owner@yodeck.com" already exists as a user on that account, please follow the below steps:
  1. Click at the top right of your screen and select the "Users" option.
  2. Find the "new_owner@yodeck.com" user and delete it.
  3. Click at the top right of your screen and select the "My User Profile" option.
  4. Change the email from "owner@yodeck.com" to "new_owner@yodeck.com" and click the "Save" button.
