There are currently some limitations. These are:
Turning the TV on and off remotely using CEC: For Amazon FireTVs and Sticks/Android devices, the screen will turn black instead of turning on or off. However, for Amazon Signage Sticks, the Remote Device Management (RDM) is supported via CEC. If, for example, you set the content to “Turned Off”, the screen will actually turn off or go into standby mode.
Fire TV – 3rd Gen (2017) –>NOT supported.
Fire TV – 1st Gen (2014) –>NOT supported.
Fire TV Stick 4K – 2nd Gen (2023) –> It does not automatically open the Yodeck app on bootup.
YouTube & Vimeo Video/Audio live channel stream –>NOT supported.
On Amazon FireOS players, webpages are always displayed above all other content in the same region. The layout’s layering order is ignored for webpages, and layering with other content is not supported. Effectively, webpages will always overlay any other media in that region.
Interactive Kiosk & Interactivity Apps (Interactive Library, Interactive Playlist , etc...) for FireOS are NOT supported.
USB to HDMI Video Capture is NOT supported.
Time Settings (Timezone, NTP) is NOT supported.
Screen Resolution (Choose resolution/frequency) is NOT supported.
Sound output (choose HDMI/Analog/Auto/Muted) is NOT supported.
Security Configurations are NOT supported.
Network Configurations Wifi, Ethernet, 4G USB Dongle, Firewall) are NOT supported.
